Öhlins supports its units with individual parts rather than only with complete assemblies.

Key Features

Dimension B 10 mm

Dimension A 14 mm

Öhlins part number 00163-18

Original Öhlins service part

Function

14 mm, 10 mm: that is the whole specification, and it has to match what came out. Öhlins publishes an exploded view for every unit, and each position in it has its own number. This part comes from the same production line as the components it is fitted to. Individual parts let a workshop replace only what is worn.

Why the Original

Every part in this catalogue is one Öhlins fits itself during assembly and service. Rebuilding to specification only works if the parts are to specification — that starts here. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute. We can check the number against the Öhlins exploded view before you order — just ask.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 00163-18 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. Öhlins states dimension a 14 mm, dimension b 10 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. Availability of individual parts is one reason Öhlins units stay in service for decades. The number on the part matches the number in the drawing, which makes identification unambiguous.

Fitting and Setup Service

A damper rebuild is workshop work: it needs the unit dismantled, the shim stack rebuilt in the correct order and the gas charge reset. We are an authorised Öhlins service centre and do exactly that in house — send us the unit or ask us to fit the part with your order.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 00163-18

Category: Service Parts

Dimension A: 14 mm

Dimension B: 10 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/00163-18_0b40d1b4-8f7b-46d0-9d9d-83614835f278.png?v=1788871268
