DescriptionThe whole story▼
Red is the colour of speed, and for plenty of young riders it is simply the favourite. The Vizion 2.5s in Red puts it on Leatt's small goggle frame, which Leatt describes as ideal for junior riders, and adds a clear lens with 90% VLT for low-light riding.
It is a straightforward, well-equipped first goggle: coated lens, silicone-lined strap, sweat-absorbing foam, posts for tear-offs and room for glasses.
Key Features
- Red colourway on the junior-sized 2.5s frame
- 90% VLT clear lens for clouds, shade and dusk
- Lens with anti-fog and hard anti-scratch coatings
- Compact one-compound frame, no outriggers
- OTG-capable for riders with glasses
- 40 mm strap, 3 mm silicone grip band
Ready for wet days
The frame comes with tear-off posts, so films can be added before a muddy race. Leatt names its optional 45 mm roll-off system as compatible too. Both are sold separately.
Lens and clarity
Fog builds quickly when a young rider is breathing hard and moving slowly, which is where the inner anti-fog coating earns its place. The outer hard coat protects against scratches. The lens is certified to CE EN 1938:2010.
Comfort and hold
Two foam layers with fleece backing absorb sweat, and the silicone band on the 40 mm strap keeps the goggle in place on a small helmet. The frame flexes thanks to its TPU construction (65% of the goggle's material).
What you should know
This is the small junior size; riders with larger helmets should choose the regular Vizion 2.5. For sunny tracks the clear lens is too light, and Leatt offers darker Vizion lenses separately. Tear-offs and roll-off are not in the box.
Colour
Clean, bright red stands out on track and matches red bikes and red-and-white youth kit. It is a cheerful choice for kids, and a quick wipe after the ride keeps mud spots from dulling it.
