DescriptionThe whole story▼

The JP ACCGP AP009 for the Aprilia RSV4 is machined from solid 7075 Ergal rather than cast, carrying the GP Series' sixty-degree stroke, progressive spring, and three-stage preload adjustment in a housing built to the tolerances a V4 superbike's throttle response deserves.

Key Features

  • Aprilia RSV4 (2017–2026)
  • GP Series ride-by-wire quick throttle with a sixty degree rotation angle
  • Progressive return spring, preload adjustable externally in three positions
  • CNC-machined from solid Ergal 7075
  • Plug-and-play on the motorcycle's own connector
  • Standard throttle assembly refits at any time

A Flagship V4's Own Demands

The RSV4 carries Aprilia's V4 engine across more than a decade of model years, and a flagship engine of that standing tends to attract owners who expect every component touching it, including the throttle, to be made to a comparable standard rather than a cost-driven one.

Why Billet Over Cast

A part machined from a solid block of Ergal holds its internal cam profile to a tighter, more repeatable tolerance than a cast equivalent can, which matters directly on a component whose entire job is translating hand movement into a precise, predictable signal.

Light in the Hand, Stiff Under Load

7075-grade aluminium removes weight everywhere the design does not need material, keeping the throttle light to operate, while the housing itself resists flexing under hard, repeated use in a way a lower-grade casting would not.

Sixty Degrees for a V4's Top End

The RSV4's V4 engine builds its most dramatic power above the mid-range, and shortening the throttle's rotation to sixty degrees shrinks the distance the hand must cover to reach that zone from a closed throttle.

Three Stages Machined Into the Adjustment

The preload mechanism itself is part of the same billet construction, with three external stages reached through a feature cut directly into the housing rather than a bolted-on afterthought.

A Known Part for a Long-Running Model

Because the RSV4 has spanned several model years with largely consistent throttle housing dimensions, this part fits a wide span of that range, with the standard diagnostic reset finishing the installation.
