Washer stainless 10.1/24/3.5, Öhlins part number 03118-04. Spacers set the internal geometry of the unit, which means their length is a specification and not a filler.
Key Features

- Dimension A 10.1 mm
- Dimension B 24 mm
- Öhlins part number 03118-04
- Original Öhlins service part
What It Is
03118-04 is the 10.1 mm, 24 mm, 3.5 mm version — Öhlins lists each size separately. Retaining rings come in a groove-specific thickness — the next size does not hold. Circlips are single-use in practice: once sprung, they no longer hold their groove reliably. Circlips hold axial position under load; a sprung one lets the assembly walk.
Original Öhlins Part
Öhlins numbers every position so a workshop can order precisely what it needs, not a whole assembly. Suspension is one of the few areas where the original part is genuinely the cheaper decision. Service parts are supplied per piece unless the description says otherwise. For a full rebuild, the seal kit plus the wear parts is usually the sensible order.
Getting the Number Right
Part number 03118-04 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. dimension a 10.1 mm, dimension b 24 mm, dimension c 3.5 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. Sealing washers are consumables — they take their shape on first assembly. Ordering the small parts with the seal kit saves the second delivery that most rebuilds otherwise need.
Fitting and Setup Service
We are an authorised Öhlins service centre, so you do not have to source the tools and the nitrogen: send us the damper and we rebuild it with the correct parts and the correct setting.
