DescriptionThe whole story▼

The JP ACCGP DU020 brings the GP Series' 60-degree stroke and cable-pull feel to the Scrambler 1100, matching a retro-styled roadster that is ridden upright and relaxed, where a shorter throttle rotation and less wrist effort suit the bike's easygoing character rather than fighting it.

Key Features

  • Ducati Scrambler 1100 (2018–2023)
  • GP Series ride-by-wire quick throttle with a sixty degree rotation angle
  • Progressive return spring, preload adjustable externally in three positions
  • CNC-machined from solid Ergal 7075
  • Plug-and-play on the motorcycle's own connector
  • Standard throttle assembly refits at any time

Built to Look Relaxed

The Scrambler 1100 wears its retro styling with a riding position to match, wide bars, an upright seat and a stance that invites a slower, more relaxed pace rather than an aggressive one. A throttle that still responds precisely but asks less of the wrist fits that easygoing character without pushing the bike toward something sharper than it was ever meant to be.

The L-Twin's Character

The air and liquid-cooled L-twin in the 1100 delivers its torque in a broad, unhurried spread that suits exactly the kind of riding the bike is built for, rolling through town or along a backroad rather than chasing a redline. A shorter throttle stroke makes that broad spread easier to use precisely at the low-to-mid revs where the engine spends most of its time.

Sixty Degrees, Same Cable Feel

Cutting the rotation needed for full throttle to 60 degrees shortens the distance the hand has to travel without changing the mechanical, cable-pull sensation the Scrambler's standard throttle already has. Riders used to the factory feel notice the shorter stroke immediately but nothing about how the throttle responds through that stroke.

Wide Bars, Relaxed Wrists

The Scrambler's wide handlebar already sets a relaxed angle for the wrist that a sportier bike's narrower bars would not, and a shorter throttle stroke continues that same idea at the grip itself. Over a long weekend ride, both choices together mean less cumulative effort for a wrist that was never meant to be worked hard.

Urban Duty, Weekend Duty

A bike like the 1100 tends to split its time between weekday urban riding, where precise low-speed control matters, and weekend rides further afield, where comfort over distance takes over. The GP Series' shorter stroke helps with the former without taking anything away from the latter, since the mechanical feel underneath stays the same.

No Trace Left Behind

Fitting the GP Series does not involve cutting into the Scrambler's wiring or permanently altering its factory cable run, since the kit is a direct, reversible replacement built for this specific model. The original throttle can go back on just as easily as the GP Series came off, with nothing left changed.
