DescriptionThe whole story▼

Accossato's RCM1, listed for the Husqvarna TC 250 built between 2014 and 2016, is a pair of rear axle blocks with a built-in adjusting screw at each end of the swingarm. Compared with marking tension against the swingarm by eye, that screw gives a repeatable way to put the wheel back in exactly the same place every time, whether after a wheel change, a new chain, or a gearing swap.

Key Features

  • Rear axle blocks for the Husqvarna TC 250, 2014 to 2016
  • Accossato code RCM1, fitted at each end of the swingarm
  • Built-in adjusting screw for setting chain tension
  • Available in orange, black or silver
  • Same part also listed for the Husqvarna TC 125, the Husqvarna FE 350 and the Husqvarna TE 250
  • Accossato also offers a chain guide, a swingarm slider and the screw-free version of this block for this bike
  • No German ABE on file; built for off-road and competition riding

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato machines the RCM1 to the TC 250's own axle diameter and swingarm slot, with the adjusting screw built into the block rather than added separately. Orange, black and silver are offered as a colour choice only, with each setting the wheel's position in the same way once turned. A block whose screw has become stiff to turn, or whose face carries a deep mark from an impact, should be inspected closely before the next ride.

Putting the Wheel Back in the Same Place

Removing the rear wheel to change a tyre or clean the chain thoroughly means the axle blocks come loose from their set position, and getting the wheel back to exactly where it was before matters for both chain tension and how straight the bike tracks. Without a reliable reference, that reset is often done by eye and feel, which can leave the wheel a fraction out from where it started even when the rider is being careful. The RCM1's built-in screw turns that guesswork into a simple count: the same number of turns on each side puts the wheel back where it was, assuming it was set correctly in the first place. Riders who pull the wheel often, whether for maintenance or just to clean up after a muddy ride, tend to appreciate having that reference rather than resetting from scratch each time.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato limits the RCM1's own list to the TC 250 built across 2014 to 2016. The same pair extends to the TC 125, the FE 350 and the TE 250, all sharing this swingarm. Switching to the stock-style RTM1 changes nothing about fitment, only the adjustment method, since both bolt into the same slot. Checking the TC 250's own build year against Accossato's list is still the sensible first step.

Road Approval

No German ABE is on file for the RCM1, so Accossato lists it for off-road and competition use rather than for use on public roads.

Scope of Delivery
