DescriptionThe whole story▼
The SP is the version of the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade that Honda equipped with semi-active suspension and a quickshifter as standard, and many of the 2020 and 2021 bikes wear the red, white and blue colours that recall Honda's racing machines. On a bike with a livery that strong, even the brake lever becomes a styling decision. Accossato's EDF011 gives the SP a machined aluminium brake lever with adjustable reach, a black hub and a blade in one of seven colours.
Key Features
- Front brake lever for the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP, 2020 and 2021
- Mounts on the original master cylinder
- Blue blade in all three lengths; red in the standard length
- Reach to the grip adjustable
- Standard length about 138 mm
- CNC-machined aluminium, anodised, black hub
- Fixed one-piece blade
- Sold for track use (no German ABE documented)
Construction and Material Quality
The EDF011 is CNC-machined from aluminium and anodised in two tones. The hub, which carries the pivot and the adjustment for reach, is always black, and the blade takes the colour you choose. Anodising turns the surface of the aluminium itself into the coloured layer, so the colour is even and durable rather than painted on. The blade is fixed rigidly to the hub, without a folding joint, and the SP's front brake is operated through one continuous piece of metal.
Red, White and Blue
If your SP wears Honda's tricolour livery, two blade colours pick up its paint directly. Blue matches the blue sections of the fairing and is available in all three lengths, so it works whether you brake with two fingers or four. Red echoes the dominant colour of the bike, but it is made only in the standard length. There is no white blade, and the black hub keeps whichever colour you choose anchored to the dark switchgear and clip-on. Riders who prefer a quieter cockpit can go the other way: a black blade disappears into the hub, and silver gives a technical, bare-metal look. Gold, green and orange are there too, for riders who want a contrast rather than a match. Whatever you choose, think about ordering the clutch lever, Accossato's ESY688H, in the same colour, since a pair looks deliberate where a single coloured lever can look like an afterthought. The reach adjustment is the same whatever the colour, so the decision on the SP can be made purely by eye.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the EDF011 for the CBR1000RR-R SP of 2020 and 2021, mounted on the original master cylinder; the standard RR-R of the same years has the same brake lever on its list. The matching clutch lever for the SP is the ESY688H, listed for 2020 and 2021.
Road Approval
There is no German ABE documented for the EDF011, so we sell it for use on track.
