Same Money, Different Paper

Both versions are 1,106 euro. That is unusual enough to be worth stating plainly, because a buyer normally expects the racing part to be cheaper or the approved part to carry a premium. Here neither is true.

What that means in practice: if the motorcycle is ever ridden on a public road, there is no argument for this number. Order GKT0110TOM instead and pay the same. This one exists for machines that never leave a circuit, and for owners who want the article without the homologation label attached to it.

What Not Approved Means

It is a statement about paperwork, not about build quality. The cases, the titanium, the laser-cut sleeve, the TIG seams and the 600 grams per silencer are the same as the approved version. What is missing is the type approval that lets a police officer or an inspector sign the exhaust off.

In Germany that distinction matters at the roadside and at the inspection, and it is not something a dB killer fixes.

Where It Bolts

Onto the standard catalysed collector, in stainless steel, like the rest of the family. Nothing about the racing designation removes the catalytic converter or changes the connection.

The OM in the Number

Spark's suffix carries the meaning. Across the whole dealer list, a number ending TOM, DOM, IOM or BOM is the approved build and the plain letter on its own is not: T is titanium without papers, TOM is titanium with them. It is worth knowing when you are reading a price list rather than a product page, because the two entries otherwise look identical down to the description text.

Here that single syllable is the entire difference between an exhaust you can ride to work and one you cannot.

Installation

Slip-on level: the kit mounts onto the standard catalysed collector with stainless-steel fittings, so the catalytic converter stays on the motorcycle. Both silencers sit high, one each side.
