FX8725P is Shark's FIXING SCREW SET FOR CHIN BAR, a complete set in black, listed against the OXO.

Key Features

Chin bar fixing set for the OXO

Complete kit per supplier designation

Black (BLK)

Listed weight 3 g

Supplied as

The set Shark supplies under FX8725P, in black. The price list does not break down the number of screws or their sizes, and we do not guess them. What it gives is the purpose: fixing the chin bar.

After a crash

Screws that hold a chin bar are part of the structure that keeps the helmet closed. Replace them when a thread is damaged, when a head is rounded, or when they have been over-tightened. After a crash, do not simply fit new screws and carry on: a helmet that has taken an impact should be judged as a whole and, in most cases, replaced.

Fitting

Work with the correct screwdriver bit so the heads are not damaged, tighten evenly on both sides, and do not force a screw that does not run in easily. Check that the chin bar opens, closes and locks properly afterwards. If in doubt, a Shark dealer can fit it.

Before you order

The OXO appears in the helmet model column of Shark's price list for FX8725P. Before ordering, check the number on the old packaging or ask your dealer if the screws came with the helmet. OXO chin bars such as FX8704P or FX8714P are separate articles; this number is only the screws.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/FX8725P-10650378273034-v2-platzhalter.png?v=1790599615
