Design & Construction
Puig drew directly from the visual language of racing when developing this front plate. The number board was once a functional fixture on competition machines, carrying race numbers into battle — Puig has reinterpreted that form for a new generation of retro-styled motorcycles. The ABS shell resists stone chips, track debris, and the minor knocks of daily use, while the carefully selected finishes — carbon look and matte black — complement the XSR900's neo-retro bodywork without looking afterthought or bolt-on.
Performance & Aerodynamics
Beyond aesthetics, the front plate's geometry is shaped to improve airflow management and front-end stability. At motorway speeds or during spirited track days, cleaner airflow over the cockpit translates into a more composed ride and reduced buffeting. At 755 g, the piece adds negligible mass while making a decisive visual statement that reads at a glance as genuine race provenance.
Homologation & Compliance
The Puig front plate carries ABE KBA 38007 WS22 approval alongside TÜV quality certification, making it road-legal across Germany and compatible with broader European type-approval frameworks. Please review the ABE documentation carefully to confirm suitability for your specific motorcycle configuration before fitting.
