Key Features

- Original Öhlins service part
- Dimension A 46 mm
- Öhlins part number 00116-03
Where It Sits
Öhlins gives it as 46 mm, 32 mm; nothing about that is approximate. These are the parts that are easy to lose on the bench and impossible to improvise afterwards. Circlips hold axial position under load; a sprung one lets the assembly walk. Öhlins uses metric threads throughout, but the length and head form are specific to the position.
Why the Original
Buying the individual part rather than a complete assembly is what makes servicing an Öhlins unit worthwhile. Rebuilding to specification only works if the parts are to specification — that starts here. We can supply the whole position from the drawing rather than the single piece if that is easier. We can check the number against the Öhlins exploded view before you order — just ask.
How to Be Sure It Fits
Order under 00116-03. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. Öhlins states dimension a 46 mm, dimension b 32 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. Small parts are cheap until one of them is missing on a Friday afternoon. A circlip holds axial position under load; if it springs, the assembly walks.
Fitting and Setup Service
Fitting service parts means opening a pressurised unit. As an authorised Öhlins service centre we do that here, with the right tools and a dyno check afterwards — just ask.
