Function
The published figures are 27 mm, 14.8 mm, 3.2 mm. Measure the old part against them before ordering. Washers spread load and set clearance; in a damper both of those are specifications. Öhlins specifies thread-locking compound by position; not every fastener wants it. Retaining rings come in a groove-specific thickness — the next size does not hold.
Original Öhlins Part
The alternative to a service part is usually a new damper, which is why this catalogue exists. Parts remain available years after a unit leaves the current price list, which is unusual in this trade. Service parts are supplied per piece unless the description says otherwise. Tell us the damper's model designation and year and we will match the number for you.
Identifying the Right Part
24619-05 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. Öhlins states dimension a 27 mm, dimension b 14.8 mm, dimension c 3.2 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. Öhlins lists these individually because a service usually needs a handful of them. Stainless where corrosion matters, hardened where load matters — the choice is made per position.
Fitting and Setup Service
We are an authorised Öhlins service centre, so you do not have to source the tools and the nitrogen: send us the damper and we rebuild it with the correct parts and the correct setting.
