DescriptionThe whole story▼
Machined from high-grade aluminium on a CNC mill and finished in your choice of five anodised colours, the LighTech SCV003 swingarm spools bring the same pit-lane precision to your Yamaha YZF-R6 RJ27 that Italian race teams demand. If the way a component is made matters as much as what it does, these bobbins are the only sensible choice for your R6.
Key Features
- CNC-machined aluminium construction delivers exceptional dimensional accuracy and a scratch-resistant contact surface that protects your swingarm on every lift.
- M6 thread screws directly into the swingarm without adapters — a clean, rattle-free installation that takes minutes.
- Compatible with all V-head paddock stands, making workshop maintenance and trackday paddock work straightforward and safe.
- Available in five anodised finishes — Black (SCV003NER), Red (SCV003ROS), Silver (SCV003SIL), Gold (SCV003ORO) and Cobalt (SCV003COB) — so the detail matches your livery.
- Supplied as a pair with all mounting hardware included, ready to fit straight from the box.
Build Quality and Materials
LighTech has built its reputation on components that meet the tolerances of motorsport, and the SCV003 is no exception. The billet aluminium body is precision turned and then hard-anodised, producing a surface that resists corrosion, oil contamination and the abrasion of repeated stand contact far better than painted or uncoated steel alternatives. Every thread is cut to exact M6 specification, ensuring a positive, play-free engagement with the swingarm's factory-drilled mounting points.
Workshop and Track Use
Whether you are changing tyres in your garage, bleeding the brakes before a track day, or simply giving the chain a proper clean and lube, a stable and reliable lift point makes every job safer and quicker. The SCV003 spools seat firmly in the V-forks of a standard paddock stand and hold the R6 rock-steady while you work. When not in use they sit flush and unobtrusive, adding a subtle race-inspired touch to the swingarm.
Important Fitment Note
These spools are designed exclusively for swingarms fitted with M6 threaded mounting holes. They are not suitable for single-sided swingarms or frames without pre-drilled M6 mounting threads. Please verify your swingarm specification before ordering.
