Bolts in Line
One of the two arrangements Ducati uses, decided by the master cylinder clamp rather than by anything printed on the motorcycle. The offset version covers the other.
Look Before Ordering
The two patterns are indistinguishable in a catalogue photograph and obvious the moment a screw refuses to reach. Thirty seconds with the old block off the bar settles it.
An Even Grip on the Tube
A machined clamp follows the handlebar's radius rather than approximating it. The load spreads instead of concentrating, which is why a milled block does not creep round over time.
Threads in Solid Metal
Cut into aluminium rather than formed into plastic. They take a proper torque figure and they survive being undone and redone as often as the job requires.
Parked, Not Riding
Water that settles in a joint overnight has hours to work inward. Rain at speed largely blows past, which is why a body with no joint outlasts one with a lid by years.
Enclosed Contacts
The elements sit inside the machined body. There is no cover to lose tension under vibration and nothing for moisture to travel along toward a terminal.
A Clean-Sheet V2
Eight hundred and ninety cubic centimetres, designed from nothing rather than developed from the Superquadro. Ducati built it for weight and usability instead of a rulebook.
The Lightest Panigale
A hundred and seventy-six kilograms dry. Every part of how this motorcycle behaves follows from that figure rather than from its hundred and twenty horsepower.
Built to Be Ridden
A narrower tank, a lower seat and a less extreme riding position. Ducati aimed this V2 at people who found the previous Panigales physically punishing.
