The MY004 pairs Accossato's quick-throttle housing with the GR002 racing grip for the Aprilia RSV4 (2012–2016), supplied complete with the matched AP012 cable set and three interchangeable inner cams. Unlike the GR001-equipped MY002 or the two-toned GR006 fitted to the MY008, the GR002 here is not offered in a separate grip colour; only the cap finish is chosen when ordering, the housing, cable and cams otherwise built to the same standard as the other two kits.

Construction and Material Quality
The two-half-ring aluminium housing and eight cap colours are shared across Accossato's quick-throttle range, the MY004 included. What distinguishes it is the GR002 grip, listed by Accossato without the colour options that come with the GR001 or GR006, so the only decision left at the point of ordering is the cap finish. The same three inner cams, 40, 43 and 45 mm, are included, with a larger cam giving a quicker throttle and longer rotation stroke of the grip according to Accossato, and a smaller one the reverse. The AP012 cable set supplied is cut specifically for this generation of RSV4.
GR002 as Accossato's Plain Option
Where Accossato describes the GR001 as a one-tone grip offered in a choice of eight colours, and the GR006 as two-toned with its own five-colour range, the GR002 fitted to the MY004 carries none of that description in Accossato's own listing; it is simply named as included, with no colour range attached to it. That makes the MY004 the more straightforward of the three kits to order for a buyer who has already settled on a cap colour and is not looking to match or contrast a grip colour against it.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's data puts the MY004 against the Aprilia RSV4 built from 2012 to 2016; the AP012 cable bundled with the kit is matched to that generation only, not to the later RSV4 RF, which is listed under its own code on the Fitment tab. Installing it replaces the Aprilia's original throttle control and cable run as one assembly.
Road Approval
There is no ABE or parts certificate documented by Accossato for the MY004; registration rules depend on the country, so check before road use. After fitting, confirm that the throttle returns to idle by itself through its full range before riding the bike.
