DescriptionThe whole story

Spark's racing systems for the CP3 platform usually assume a stripped motorcycle. This one does not: the collector is built for the original chassis, so the standard swingarm, radiator and passenger footrests all stay where they are.

Key Features

  • Racing full system for the Yamaha MT-09, XSR 900, Tracer 9 and YZF R9.
  • Stainless steel collector dimensioned for the original chassis.
  • Force Evo silencer in titanium, 400 mm case.
  • No road approval — closed-circuit use only.
  • Spark lists the number under both the MT-09 group and the YZF R9.
  • Made by Spark in Mantova, Italy.

Built Around the Standard Motorcycle

Spark's price list is specific about the collector: stainless steel, for the original chassis. That phrase separates this article from the WSSP600 competition systems on the same platform, which are routed for a machine that has already lost its passenger footrests and had its radiator and swingarm changed.

Here nothing else has to be touched. The system goes onto a standard bike, which makes it the sensible choice for a road-registered motorcycle used on track days rather than a dedicated race machine.

The Force Evo Case

Force Evo is the ribbed one in Spark's silencer range — a titanium case with a series of raised ribs along its length and a carbon fibre end cap. The ribs are a structural feature before they are a styling one: they stiffen a thin-wall case that would otherwise ring.

Spark lists the case at 400 mm. That is a long silencer by racing standards, and a longer case is a quieter one, which matters on a track with a noise limit.

What Spark Does Not Publish

There is no dedicated article page for GYA8812T on Spark's website. The specification here comes from Spark's own 2026 dealer price list, which is the only source the manufacturer publishes for this number.

That means no official weight figure, no decibel measurement and no product photography. We would rather tell you that than borrow numbers from a neighbouring article number and present them as this one's.

Which Motorcycles

The price list carries this number twice: once under the MT-09, XSR 900 and Tracer 9 group for 2021 to 2025, and once under the YZF R9 for 2024 to 2026, where the entry adds the 400 mm silencer length. All four machines run the same CP3 three-cylinder engine.

Send us your registration document before ordering and we will confirm the fit against Spark's own data for your exact model year.

Track Use Only

Spark lists the number as racing. There is no homologation certificate and no catalytic converter in the system. It must not be fitted to a motorcycle used on public roads.

Fitment & Compatibility

Yamaha MT-09, XSR 900, Tracer 9 and YZF R9. The titanium-collector equivalent with a Konix Evo silencer is GYA8802T at 1.774 euro. Spark's Euro5+ approved system for the same platform is GYA8886TOM.

Road Approval

None. Spark lists this system as racing. It is built for closed-circuit use and must not be fitted to a motorcycle ridden on public roads.
