DescriptionThe whole story▼

The Suzuki GSX250R is a small, easy-going sports bike with a twin-cylinder engine, popular with new riders who want sporty looks without intimidating power. Most are used for commuting, short trips and learning. AGPA72 in the Organic (OR) mixture is Accossato's front pad for the GSX250R from 2017 to 2023. It suits that everyday use, with a gentle, quiet response and a long life for the front disc, and it is a sensible choice for riding schools as well.

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato describes Organic as a pad that performs for longer while keeping disc wear low. For a light bike used for dozens of short stops a day, that is a practical choice. Accossato also mentions limited heat build-up, so fade stays small, and solid stopping power.

A Friendly Sports Bike for Beginners

Many GSX250R owners are new to motorcycling. They brake gently and often, usually with cold pads, and they are still learning how much lever pressure a stop needs. An organic pad responds progressively from cold, which makes it easy to judge, and it generally runs quietly at low speed. For riding schools, pads that are kind to the disc help keep costs down across a fleet. Check pad thickness regularly, keep the disc clean, and look at the fluid level in the handlebar reservoir. After a pad change, pump the lever until it is firm before the first ride. Parents who look after a son's or daughter's first bike will find this one of the easier maintenance jobs to keep an eye on, as the pad material can be seen through the caliper.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato lists AGPA72 for the GSX-R 250 from 2017 to 2023, which is the GSX250R in our shop. The bike has one front disc and a single caliper, so one box covers the front. For the rear, Accossato offers AGPP185. The same front pad is also made as Sintered, EV1 street/track and EV2 racing.

Road Approval

We have no ABE or German test paperwork for AGPA72OR, so it is offered for racing and competition use.
