Sitta's 201M rear sprocket brings together precision-machined aluminium craftsmanship and an eight-colour anodised finish range to give the Suzuki GSX-R 600 and GSX-R 750 rider a genuinely bespoke drivetrain upgrade. Whether the goal is shaving fractions off lap times or tuning the gearing for a long road season, the 201M delivers the substance to match its looks.
Key Features
- Lightweight aluminium construction weighing just 350 g at size 45 — reducing unsprung mass without sacrificing rigidity
- Available in eight distinct anodised finishes: silver, black, hard-anodised, blue, red, orange, gold and green — hard-anodised offering superior durability over standard anodising
- Twelve tooth counts from 37 to 48 teeth, letting you dial in acceleration bias or top-speed advantage to suit your riding style and circuit
- Machined exclusively for 525 pitch — optimised chain engagement for consistent power delivery and reduced wear
- Sprocket carrier fitment: 110/130-6 hole pattern for accurate, straightforward installation
- Suitable for both track and road use, resisting wear even under sustained high-load conditions
Design, Finish and Heritage
Sitta has been producing drivetrain components for competitive motorcycle use for decades, and the 201M rear sprocket reflects that pedigree. Every sprocket is CNC-machined from high-grade aluminium billet and finished with an anodised surface treatment that does more than look the part — it protects the tooth profile against corrosion and surface abrasion across seasons of hard use. The hard-anodised variant goes a step further, producing a surface hardness that measurably outlasts a conventional anodised finish, making it the preferred choice for riders who cover high mileage or compete regularly.
The colour palette — silver, black, hard-anodised, blue, red, orange, gold and green — gives every GSX-R owner the freedom to coordinate the sprocket with their machine's livery or simply choose the finish that appeals. This is not aftermarket cosmetics applied as an afterthought; the anodising is integral to the aluminium and will not peel or chip under normal operating conditions.
Gearing and Performance
Selecting the correct tooth count is one of the most cost-effective ways to reshape how a motorcycle performs. On the GSX-R 600 and GSX-R 750, the 201M's range covers both ends of the spectrum.
A smaller rear sprocket in the 37-to-42-tooth range produces a taller overall gearing ratio. The engine runs at lower revs at any given road speed, improving motorway composure and raising potential top speed — useful for fast, open circuits or extended road touring.
A larger rear sprocket in the 43-to-48-tooth range shortens the gearing, sharpening throttle response out of slower corners and producing noticeably stronger acceleration through the lower gears. This is the preferred setup for technical tracks, hillclimbs or urban road riding where punch matters more than outright top speed.
At only 350 g for the size 45 example, the 201M is light enough that swapping sprockets between configurations adds a negligible weight penalty — a genuine advantage for riders who switch between road and track use.
Fitment and Compatibility
This sprocket is machined specifically for the following models:
- Suzuki GSX-R 600 (2011-2016)
- Suzuki GSX-R 750 (2011-2016)
Compatible with 525 pitch chains only. Sprocket carrier bolt pattern: 110/130-6 hole. Please verify your existing chain pitch before ordering — this sprocket is not compatible with 520 or 530 pitch chains.
