Small parts are what hold a rebuild together — the wrong circlip or washer is enough to fail the job.

Key Features

Original Öhlins service part

Öhlins part number 21218-01

What It Is

Öhlins publishes no separate dimension for this position, so the part number carries the identity. Spacers set the internal geometry of the unit, which means their length is a specification and not a filler. A plug that seals a gas port is a pressure part despite its size. Ordering the small parts with the seal kit saves the second delivery that most rebuilds otherwise need.

Original Öhlins Part

A damper that can be rebuilt is a damper that stays on the bike; that is the whole argument for original service parts. The part number is the contract: it defines material, dimension and finish together. Order by part number. The dimensions below are the ones Öhlins publishes for it. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute.

How to Be Sure It Fits

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 21218-01. Öhlins does not publish a dimension here — go by the number and the exploded view. Ordering the small parts with the seal kit saves the second delivery that most rebuilds otherwise need. They are supplied in pairs because the bearing needs one each side.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21218-01

Category: Ball Joint Spacers

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21218-01_06ba57a3-2e60-49fc-92b5-10174296ea8f.png?v=1788879534
