Spacers are machined rather than cut, so the ends are square and the load is even. These are the parts that are easy to lose on the bench and impossible to improvise afterwards. Circlips hold axial position under load; a sprung one lets the assembly walk.

Original Öhlins Part

Suspension is one of the few areas where the original part is genuinely the cheaper decision. The tolerances here are the ones the unit was assembled to, not a pattern equivalent's interpretation of them. Ask us before ordering if you are unsure: a wrong part in a pressurised unit is an expensive lesson. For a full rebuild, the seal kit plus the wear parts is usually the sensible order.

Identifying the Right Part

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 05669-03. Check dimension a 16 mm, dimension b 30 mm, dimension c 3 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. Stainless where corrosion matters, hardened where load matters — the choice is made per position. Thread size and length identify the fastener; substituting a hardware-store equivalent is not sensible in a pressurised damper.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 05669-03

Category: Spacers

Dimension A: 16 mm

Dimension B: 30 mm

Dimension C: 3 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/05669-03_9964fd42-f87b-41db-8535-fd7f7d2de655.png?v=1788874509
