Where It Sits
Öhlins gives it as 31 mm, 41.5 mm; nothing about that is approximate. Guides and sleeves set the internal alignment of a cartridge. Inner and outer diameter both matter; a bushing that is a little loose does more damage than none at all. Play at a bushing lets the shaft run off centre and the seal wears unevenly.
