DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Streetfighter V4 with an aligned-pattern right-hand switch block, machined from black anodised Ergal.
Key Features
- Ducati Streetfighter V4 (2020–2024)
- Aligned hole pattern
- Complete street control set
- Black anodised Ergal 7075
- CNC-machined from solid
- Sealed switch elements
- Plug-and-play on the original connector
Aligned Mounting
Both bolts on a single axis, matching one of the two clamp arrangements. The offset version covers the other and a catalogue image will not tell them apart.
Programmes, Not Tooling
A machining file can be altered for one model at almost no cost. An injection mould cannot, which is why moulded switchgear is generic and machined switchgear is not.
Dust Is the Permanent One
Water dries out of a joint. Road grit picked up at speed does not; it settles on a terminal and stays there for as long as the component exists.
The Bar Lands First
When a naked bike goes over there is nothing to take the impact before the handlebar. A milled body scuffs where a moulded shell splits at its clip line.
A Small Penalty
Machined aluminium is slightly heavier than the plastic it replaces. It is a trivial amount and it is honest to mention it rather than leave it out.
Enclosed Contacts
Sealed inside the body rather than behind a lid. With no bodywork above the bar, that housing is the entire defence the electrics have.
A Superbike With Handlebars
Ducati raised the bars, removed the fairing and left the engine at 208 horsepower. Nothing about it is reasonable and that is exactly the appeal.
More Leverage
A one-piece bar gives considerably more leverage than clip-ons, which is why a Streetfighter turns more easily than the Panigale it derives from despite carrying weight higher.
A Nearly Empty Tail
Ducati kept the rear of the Streetfighter minimal, which is part of why it weighs 178 kilograms dry despite the engine it carries.
