DescriptionThe whole story▼

The JP ACCGP KA054 fits the Kawasaki ZX-4RR built between 2024 and 2026, a small-displacement inline-four supersport that makes its case almost entirely through revs rather than outright torque. A shorter, sixty-degree throttle rotation suits an engine whose character changes completely between six and fourteen thousand rpm.

Key Features

  • Kawasaki ZX-4 RR (2024–2026)
  • GP Series ride-by-wire quick throttle with a sixty degree rotation angle
  • Progressive return spring, preload adjustable externally in three positions
  • CNC-machined from solid Ergal 7075
  • Plug-and-play on the motorcycle's own connector
  • Standard throttle assembly refits at any time

An Engine That Lives Near the Limiter

The ZX-4RR's inline-four makes relatively little torque low down and depends instead on spinning to speeds most larger-displacement motorcycles never reach, which means a rider spends a disproportionate amount of a fast lap working the top third of the rev range. A shorter throttle rotation keeps fine control available exactly there, where small movements matter more than they would lower down.

Light, Quick, Unforgiving of Clumsy Input

A bike this light changes direction and reacts to throttle input faster than a heavier machine, which rewards precision and punishes an overly large or sudden movement more readily. Reducing the throttle's rotation to sixty degrees turns a given wrist movement into a smaller, more considered change in opening, matching the bike's own quickness rather than fighting it.

Small Bore, Big Rev Range

Four small cylinders spinning to extreme rpm behave very differently under throttle than a larger-displacement twin or V4, with power building progressively across a wide band rather than arriving in one place, and that spread rewards a rider who can modulate the throttle finely across the whole range rather than treating it as simply open or closed.

A Spring Suited to Repeated Small Inputs

Because so much of riding the ZX-4RR well involves small, repeated throttle adjustments rather than big, infrequent ones, the progressive return spring's three external preload settings let an owner find a snap-back feel that doesn't fight those frequent small corrections, something a rider learning to ride a high-revving four-cylinder for the first time often needs to experiment with.

Machined for Consistency Lap After Lap

JetPrime machines the shorter cam from solid Ergal rather than stamping it, holding the tolerances that keep the throttle's feel identical from the first lap of a trackday to the last, when fatigue makes consistency from the equipment matter more than it did at the start of the session.

Fitted and Reset Like Any GP Series Throttle

Installation on the ZX-4RR follows the same Plug and Play process as the rest of the range: stock connector, stock mounting points, and a diagnostic throttle position reset to finish. The standard throttle refits just as easily later, whether for a sale or a return to factory specification.
