DescriptionThe whole story▼
The JP ACCGP DU020 fits the Ducati Diavel V4 (2023-2026), reducing throttle rotation to sixty degrees so this newer-generation power cruiser's Granturismo V4 engine responds to a shorter twist of the wrist, finished after fitting with the standard diagnostic reset that any throttle body swap requires.
Key Features
- Ducati Diavel V4 (2023–2026)
- GP Series ride-by-wire quick throttle with a sixty degree rotation angle
- Progressive return spring, preload adjustable externally in three positions
- CNC-machined from solid Ergal 7075
- Plug-and-play on the motorcycle's own connector
- Standard throttle assembly refits at any time
A New Engine, The Same Short-Stroke Logic
The Diavel V4 moved away from the Testastretta twin to the Granturismo V4 used across several current Ducatis, and a short-stroke throttle body suits that newer engine just as well, since the underlying argument for less rotation is about wrist travel rather than cylinder count.
Diagnostics First, Riding Second
Once the housing is bolted down and its connector seated, the bike needs the standard diagnostic relearn procedure before the throttle position is recognised correctly, a routine step that any workshop or experienced owner will already know from past throttle body work.
Low and Stretched, Still Wanting a Quick Response
A power cruiser's relaxed seating position puts the wrist at an angle with less natural leverage than an upright bike offers, which makes a shorter rotation more useful here, not less, since there is simply less range of comfortable movement to work with.
Reversible Without a Trace
The factory throttle body unbolts cleanly for this swap, with nothing cut, drilled or permanently altered, so the original part can go back on later exactly as it came off, should an owner's plans for the Diavel V4 change.
Compatible With the V4's Own Wiring
The unit's connector and cable routing are built to the Diavel V4's specific layout, not adapted from an older model, so the swap does not require creative wiring or unofficial adapters to make the parts agree with each other.
Three Stages, Set From the Outside
The progressive return spring's preload adjusts externally across three positions, letting the throttle feel be firmed up or softened without opening the housing, a change that takes moments rather than a full afternoon in the garage.
