DescriptionThe whole story▼
The 128X is Accossato's riser kit for converting a 22 mm handlebar clamp to the thicker 28.5 mm tapered diameter, adding 24 mm of rise and finished in black anodised aluminium. Accossato lists 68 confirmed fitments for the 128X, spanning more than a dozen manufacturers, from Aprilia and BMW to Ducati and CFMOTO.
Key Features
- Riser kit converting a 22 mm handlebar clamp to 28.5 mm diameter
- Adds 24 mm of rise to the riding position
- Black anodised aluminium construction
- Bolts into the existing triple clamp, no clamp modification needed
- Covers 68 confirmed motorcycle fitments
- Lets a 22 mm clamp accept Accossato's tapered handlebar range
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato shapes the 128X from aluminium and finishes it in black anodising, controlling the 22 mm to 28.5 mm diameter step and the 24 mm of added rise together so the two risers match and the converted bar sits level rather than tilted. The kit bolts straight into the existing triple clamp bolt pattern, without altering the clamp itself.
A Widely Fitted Conversion
With 68 listed fitments, the 128X is one of the more broadly applicable kits in Accossato's conversion range, covering everything from the BMW R nineT and S1000 XR to the Ducati Scrambler 1100 and Streetfighter V4. That breadth comes from the kit converting a clamp diameter, 22 mm, common across a wide spread of manufacturers, rather than a single model's own geometry.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists 68 confirmed fitments for the 128X, including the BMW R nineT (2014-2016), BMW S1000 XR (2015-2019), Ducati Scrambler 1100 Sport (2018-2021), Aprilia Tuono 660 (2021-2024) and Ducati Streetfighter V4 (2020-2022). The full list, with production years for every covered model, sits in the Fitment tab on this page. Buyers converting a bike outside that list should confirm the original clamp diameter is 22 mm before ordering.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for the 128X; registration rules depend on the country, so check local requirements before road use.
