The Accossato PK035 pairs a 19 mm piston, suited to dual-disc front brakes, with a fixed 20 mm lever pivot distance, the shortest-stroke setting Accossato offers on this piston size, and fits it with a long folding lever rather than the fixed lever used on the otherwise identical PK029. Accossato does not recommend the 20 mm pivot for everyday street use, positioning it instead for track and competition riding.

Construction and Material Quality

Body and hardware are unchanged from the fixed-lever PK029: a forged aluminium body with a CNC-worked cover and lever, stainless steel screws, a zinc-plated bleed valve and Formula 1 compound seals. The only mechanical difference is the lever joint itself, folding here rather than fixed, which lets the lever tuck in against the bar for transport or after a light drop. The offset riser and the shortened passive stroke, already reduced by more than half against a conventional radial unit before the 20 mm pivot geometry sharpens it further, carry over unchanged.

Choosing the Folding Lever at the Sharpest Pivot Setting

At the 20 mm pivot distance, the lever stroke is already the shortest in the 19 mm family, and some riders who use this sharper, track-oriented setting also value being able to fold the lever flat against the bar, whether for storage between sessions or simply to reduce the risk of damage if the bike goes down at low speed on the way into the paddock. The trade-off described for the 20 mm pivot elsewhere in the range still applies here regardless of lever type: for the same hand pressure, this setting needs more physical force to reach full braking power than the 18 mm version, which is why Accossato reserves it for track and competition use rather than the road.

Road Approval

This master cylinder is not supplied with German road-approval documentation; it is intended for track and competition use.

Scope of Delivery

The package includes the Accossato PK035 radial brake master cylinder with its integrated reservoir, fitted with a long folding lever and relieving eyelet (RST) in the colour selected, together with the mounting nut. Stainless steel mounting screws, the zinc-plated bleed valve and the Formula 1 compound seals are assembled on the unit. The brake light switch, available separately as ID001 or ID002, and the mirror holder, available separately as MH007 or MH008, are not included.
