DescriptionThe whole story▼
Watch the leaders at any big motocross race and you will see them lay their bikes over on the take-off of a jump, keeping the machine low instead of sailing high. The technique is called scrubbing, and on a Husqvarna FC 350 it can save time over every jump on the lap, provided the timing is right. Much of the work is done through the legs and the footpegs. For the FC 350 of 2016 to 2022, Accossato makes enlarged footpegs in Ergal, available in orange or black.
Key Features
- Accossato footpegs for the Husqvarna FC 350, 2016 to 2022

- Broad base for pushing the bike over with the legs
- For motocross, enduro and off-road riding
- Orange or black as the variant
- Left and right peg together
- Accossato has separate sets for the FC 350 of 2014–2015 and 2023–2026
- No approval papers on record; for racing
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato calls these pegs enlarged and names Ergal as the material, a high-strength grade of aluminium; the intended use is motocross, enduro and off-road riding. That is the whole technical story the maker tells, and we will not add chapters of our own. What the larger size means in practice is simple enough: when the rider presses down hard through the feet, the boot has a wider surface underneath it. Two pegs make up the set, one for each side, and for this generation of the FC 350 the choice is between orange and black.
Keeping the Bike Low
A scrub begins on the face of the jump. Instead of riding straight up the ramp and letting the suspension fling the bike into the air, the rider turns the bars slightly and leans the FC 350 over to one side as the wheels reach the lip, pressing the bike down with the legs. The result is a flatter, shorter flight and an earlier return to the throttle on the landing. At full speed in the hands of a professional it looks effortless; in reality it demands precise timing and a great deal of trust in the bike.
Riders who want to learn it are usually advised to start on a small tabletop with a gentle face, practising the lean at modest speed before trying anything bigger. Throughout the movement the boots stay planted, because the legs are steering the attitude of the bike, and a foot that slips can turn a scrub into a crash. A broad, secure footing is therefore part of the technique, together with patience and a coach or experienced friend who watches from the side of the track.
Fitment and Compatibility
Three Accossato footpeg sets exist for the FC 350, one for each model-year group, and this FR798 is the one for 2016 to 2022. Owners of a 2014 or 2015 bike need the FR795; for 2023 to 2026 the list gives the FR809. If you are not certain which generation your FC 350 belongs to, the purchase documents or the frame number will settle it, and we are glad to help. We also list the same FR798 for the GasGas MC 250F, the GasGas EC 300 and the Husqvarna FE 350.
Road Approval
There is no ABE and no comparable test certificate for these pegs in our records. We therefore sell them for racing.
