The Accossato 16x16 radial brake master cylinder is also available with its body painted in fluorescent yellow, one of the brighter options in Accossato's painted-body range, paired as standard with a black Revolution lever. The 16 mm piston is matched to a fixed 16 mm pivot distance, the softest Accossato builds, which favours a longer and lighter lever stroke over outright bite. That combination is aimed at single-disc machines, among them mid-size roadsters, adventure bikes and tourers, where everyday comfort at the lever matters more than track-level stopping force.

Construction and Material Quality
The body starts out as a forged aluminium casting, then receives the fluorescent yellow paint that marks this version out from the rest of the 16x16 range. Hardware-wise nothing changes with the colour: stainless steel mounting screws, a zinc-plated bleed valve and seals made from Formula 1 compound carry across every finish, chosen so that heat cycling and brake fluid exposure do not shorten the unit's working life. An off-set riser built into the mounting clamp keeps the body from flexing under hard braking, and the bore is shaped internally so the passive stroke, the lever travel before the pads actually engage, is more than halved compared with a standard radial master cylinder of this size.
Why the Softest Pivot Distance Fits a Single Disc
Accossato rates the 16 mm piston on this fluorescent yellow unit as suitable for single-disc front brakes, and builds it with a 16 mm pivot distance, the softest it offers across the radial range. In practical terms that means the lever moves further for the same hand effort, giving a gentler, more gradual bite rather than a sharp one, which suits riders covering distance on a single-disc bike rather than chasing a short stroke for track lap times. The pivot distance on this model is fixed, not adjustable like the PRS versions elsewhere in the catalogue, so the rider is not choosing a setting but accepting the one ratio Accossato designed this body around; the fluorescent yellow paint changes nothing about that behaviour, only the visibility of the unit on the bars.

Scope of Delivery
The package includes the Accossato 16x16 radial brake master cylinder in fluorescent yellow, fitted with the black Revolution lever, stainless steel mounting screws, the zinc-plated bleed valve and the Formula 1 compound seals already assembled. The stop light switch, available separately as ID001 or ID002, and the fluid reservoir are not included and must be purchased separately.
