DescriptionThe whole story▼
This Accossato kit gives the Yamaha R1, built from 2015 to 2021, three braided hoses laid out to the Full-length layout, where each line runs independently from the master cylinder to the caliper it feeds. On a literbike built for track use as much as the road, every bit of precision at the lever matters once the pace picks up, and running each hose on its own route removes the small amount of shared flex a bridged arrangement can introduce under hard braking.
Key Features
- Three-hose set built to the Full-length (F) layout
- Each line runs independently to the caliper it serves
- Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
- Painted stainless steel fittings in red, green, blue, black or gold
- Supplied as a complete braided hose kit under this part number
Construction and Material Quality
Each hose combines a stainless braid sheath with fittings made from stainless steel, and this part offers those fittings painted in five colours as well as bare, letting the finish pick up a cue from the R1's own paintwork. The braid itself spans twenty shades independently of that choice, giving a wide range of combinations across a three-hose set.
Full-Length Layout on a Literbike
The F designation means each hose makes its own run from the master cylinder to its caliper rather than one line continuing on to a second caliper, which is the arrangement Accossato instead uses on the Standard-layout kits it lists for this bike. Riders who want the most direct routing possible, rather than the factory's own hose paths, choose this version over the Standard alternative.
Fitment and Compatibility
This kit fits the Yamaha R1 built between 2015 and 2021, and the same part also covers the R1M of the same generation. Accossato also lists two Standard-layout alternatives for the R1: a six-hose kit, part AGA0079, that replaces the bike's metal pipe section, and a seven-hose kit, part AGA0201, that retains it. A workshop converting an R1 to this layout should confirm with the owner first whether they would rather keep the factory's own hose paths, since that changes which of Accossato's three R1 kits is the right one to order.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit, so it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
The kit contains 3 braided hoses for the Full-Length layout. Fittings such as banjo bolts and copper sealing washers are not listed as included, so it is worth checking the connecting hardware already on the bike before starting the job.
