DescriptionThe whole story▼
A 2017 TE 250 falls into a narrow gap between the bike's 2016 and 2018 brake hose fitments, and for that single year alone Accossato supplies one braided rear hose rather than a matched pair covering both ends of the bike. The fitting can be ordered plain in stainless steel or painted in one of five colours, with twenty sheath colours available either way.
Key Features
- Single braided hose for the rear brake line
- Standard S-layout routing
- Stainless steel or painted stainless fittings in five colours
- Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
- Covers the rear circuit only; front hose not included
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato builds this hose from the same aeronautical braid as its wider range, closing each end with a stainless or painted stainless fitting; the twenty-colour braid choice applies here just as it does on every other single-hose kit. Replacing the rear line with this part does not call for any work on the front circuit, which keeps its own hose regardless.
A Single Year Caught Between Two Other Kits
On either side of this lone 2017 model year, the TE 250 uses a two-hose kit: AGA0266 for 2016 and AGF3013 for 2018 through 2020. Only this one calendar year drops to a single rear hose, a fitment Accossato shares with a long list of other Husqvarna enduro models and KTM EXC-F machines from around the same production window, rather than writing a kit unique to the TE 250 alone.
Fitment and Compatibility
Only the Husqvarna TE 250 built in the single 2017 model year takes this exact hose. Beyond that one bike, the identical part reaches the FE 250, FE 350, FE 450, FE 501 and FS 450, the TE 125 and TE 300, the TX 125, and a long run of KTM EXC-F machines from nearby years; the fitment tab breaks the whole spread down. The 2016 TE 250 uses AGA0266, and 2018–2020 bikes use AGF3013.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit, so it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
The kit contains 1 braided hose for the Standard layout. Connecting hardware such as banjo bolts and sealing washers is not listed as included, so it is worth checking the hardware already on the bike before starting the job. Once fitted, the circuit should be filled and bled by a competent workshop before the bike is ridden.
