DescriptionThe whole story▼
Where the non-ABS Dorsoduro 750 needs four hoses, the ABS-equipped version of the same Aprilia runs a more complex circuit through its anti-lock module, so this braided kit for that variant grows to seven hoses while keeping the Standard routing the factory specified. Nothing about the path through the ABS hardware is changed by fitting this set; every section that was rubber becomes stainless-braided line, carrying fluid to the same two calipers the stock plumbing always fed. The longer hose count simply reflects how many extra joints the module adds to the circuit.
Key Features
- Seven-hose set for the ABS Dorsoduro 750, Standard (S) layout matching the stock routing
- Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
- Stainless steel fittings throughout, no painted option on this kit
- Covers every hose run through the ABS brake circuit
- Less hose expansion under hard use than the original rubber lines
- Finished ready to fit in place of the original rubber hoses
Construction and Material Quality
As with the rest of the Accossato catalogue, each hose carries a woven stainless outer layer over the pressure line, terminated at both ends with plain stainless fittings rather than a coloured finish. Because this particular application uses seven separate hoses rather than four, the hardware decision Accossato made for the whole Dorsoduro 750 range, stainless only, keeps the parts list consistent across both the ABS and non-ABS versions. The sheath remains available in all twenty standard colours regardless of hose count.
Why This Kit Needs Seven Hoses
The jump from four hoses on the non-ABS Dorsoduro 750 to seven here comes down entirely to the anti-lock hardware fitted to this version: the ABS module sits in the circuit between the master cylinder and the calipers, and each additional connection point needs its own braided section to keep the whole run flexible. The routing itself still matches the Standard pattern Aprilia used at the factory; only the hose count reflects the extra plumbing the ABS system requires, so none of the seven lines take an unusual path through the bodywork.
Fitment and Compatibility
This set is built for the ABS version of the Aprilia Dorsoduro 750, sold between 2007 and 2017. The non-ABS Dorsoduro 750 of the same years uses Accossato's four-hose kit, AGA0291, instead, since that version's circuit bypasses the ABS module entirely; check which brake system is fitted to your own bike, and confirm the exact year against the Fitment tab, before ordering.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit; it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
7 braided hoses for the Standard layout, covering the ABS brake circuit. Check hollow bolts and sealing washers against the motorcycle before fitting, since these connecting parts are not necessarily included.
