A soft reservoir usually means the bladder has failed rather than the gas has leaked. Hose length is specific to the installation and cannot be substituted freely. Öhlins pressure-tests its hoses because a reservoir line carries the full gas charge.

Why the Original

The part is identical to what Öhlins fits in production — same supplier, same specification. Öhlins publishes dimensions for its service parts so a workshop can verify before it fits. If the unit is already apart, compare the published dimensions with the part in your hand. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute.

Identifying the Right Part

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 00640-11. Check dimension a 10 mm, dimension b 12 mm, dimension c 260 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. Hose length is part of the installation and cannot be changed freely. Öhlins pressure-tests its hoses because a reservoir line carries the full gas charge.

Fitting and Setup Service

A damper rebuild is workshop work: it needs the unit dismantled, the shim stack rebuilt in the correct order and the gas charge reset. We are an authorised Öhlins service centre and do exactly that in house — send us the unit or ask us to fit the part with your order.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 00640-11

Category: Hoses

Dimension A: 10 mm

Dimension B: 12 mm

Dimension C: 260 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/00640-11_ca45d889-3aa3-47b2-bab0-8d5b97292744.png?v=1788870114
