The black version keeps the lower half of the bike in one tone: dark engine, dark frame, dark pipes, with the carbon silencer as the one textured detail at the back. On the grey and blue machine in Termignoni's photos, that is what keeps the wheels as the colour accent.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eIs the extra money worth it\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eMechanically the two Y139 versions are the same system with the same quoted gain and weight saving. In our shop this one costs noticeably more than the stainless and titanium version. Buy this one for the look, not for a number on a test bench.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eLiving with carbon on a naked bike\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eWithout a fairing, the silencer is more exposed: a drop in a car park or a boot heel against the can will mark carbon where titanium would simply scuff.
