A worn bushing lets the shaft move off centre, and the seal is the next thing to fail. Öhlins uses low-friction coated bushings so the unit breaks away smoothly rather than sticking. A bushing is a consumable and is replaced at rebuild rather than reused.

Genuine Service Part

Öhlins publishes dimensions for its service parts so a workshop can verify before it fits. Öhlins manufactures service parts on the same lines as production parts — there is no second quality. Tell us the damper's model designation and year and we will match the number for you. If you are between two sizes, send us the measurement and we will check it against the catalogue.

How to Be Sure It Fits

21919-01 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. Öhlins states inner diameter 24.3 mm, outer diameter 36 mm, length 15 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. Inner and outer diameter both matter; a bushing that is a little loose does more damage than none at all. Bushings take the side load so the seal only has to seal.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21919-01

Category: Guides

Inner Diameter: 24.3 mm

Outer Diameter: 36 mm

Length: 15 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21919-01_fb2e8b8b-4e13-41c2-a0eb-908cbece5c88.png?v=1788880467
