How to measure your helmet size correctly: To find the right helmet size, measure your head circumference with a flexible tape measure.
It is important that the tape measure runs around the widest part of the head – only then will you get a correct result.
Place the tape measure at the front, about 1–2 cm above the eyebrows, and run it along the sides above the ears.
At the back, the tape must run over the largest part of the back of the head (not too low on the neck). The tape may run slightly at an angle – what matters is that it sits all the way around the largest points of the head.
Make sure the tape measure sits snugly but does not dig in. Measure 2–3 times for the most accurate result. You can then compare the measured value in centimetres (cm) with our size chart.
Tips for an accurate result
- Keep hair flat (e.g. do not measure over a voluminous hairstyle)
- Keep the tape horizontal, i.e. along the largest circumference
- Do not measure too loosely
- For values between two sizes:
→ usually choose the larger size (depending on helmet model / fit)
Important note on fit
The right helmet should fit firmly without causing uncomfortable pressure points.
A new helmet may feel a little tighter at first, as the inner lining adapts slightly over time.

Tropical is the outlier in this range — a dense botanical pattern rather than the usual angular racing shapes, with pink coming through the leaves against black and white. It is the one helmet here that does not look like every other helmet.
A four-star shell in six sizes
The HPFC shell is the heart of the value here: 1500 grams, ECE 22.06, and an independently verified four-star SHARP result — a combination that usually costs considerably more.
It comes in six shell sizes. Most helmets in this bracket make do with two or three, which leaves small sizes carrying surplus polystyrene and large ones looking inflated. Certimoov singled this out, noting "6 shell sizes!" in its assessment.
About the Tropical Black/White finish
The pattern rewards a closer look: from a distance it reads as a dark helmet with light detailing, and only up close do the leaf shapes and the pink accents resolve. Gloss suits it, giving the pattern depth. If you have ever wanted a helmet that is not black, grey or racing livery, this is LS2's answer.
Airflow that reaches your head
Ventilation is a genuine through-flow design rather than a pair of decorative slots: ducted polystyrene carries air across the scalp from the front intakes to the rear extractors.
Two visors in the box, a third inside the shell
Vision is a strong point: an oversized aperture, a scratch-resistant screen, tool-free quick-release, and two visors supplied — the clear one fitted and a tinted one in the box alongside the Pinlock insert.
The Twin Visor System adds a tinted sun visor inside the shell, on a slider by your left temple. It drops when the sun does and retracts fully into the EPS.
Holding on, and letting go
The four-star SHARP result is the headline. Behind it: a reinforced strap with a micrometric metal fastener, multi-density polystyrene, and emergency-release tabs for the cheek pads.
The bit you actually touch
Comfort comes from a hypoallergenic, breathable liner that comes out for washing. The helmet is wired for the current LS2 Bluetooth unit, so adding comms means no cutting or gluing.
