Sprint Filter P08 Air Filter for Road & Track – Zontes 368E (2025–2026) SM295S

Road and track are two situations with almost nothing in common, except that a 368E can meet both in one weekend. Road air arrives loaded with pollen, insect debris, brake dust and soot, much of it faintly sticky and most of it seasonal. Circuit air is clean by comparison, apart from the rubber a session lays down and the grit carried onto the surface with it. One element has to be a reasonable answer to both loads.

Two kinds of load, one weave

Sticky road deposits behave nothing like dry dust. Pollen and insect remains bind to the fibres and will not blow off; they come away with water and a little detergent, which is exactly the half of the routine that no paper panel survives. Track debris is drier, lighter, and lifts with air alone. Because a weave collects on its surface rather than deep inside its structure, both loads end up somewhere reachable from the clean side — the mechanical reason this element can be returned to a known condition many times over rather than once.

Where the honest limit sits

None of that makes a standard 368E quicker. Airbox volume, throttle bodies, valve timing and the fuelling map were signed off as one package, and the paper panel was never the item holding that package back. What can be defended is a restriction that stays low rather than one that merely starts low. A disposable element is at its best on the day it goes in and at its worst on the day it comes out, with nothing on the dash reporting the journey in between. A washable weave returns to its own starting figure at every cleaning, so a bike alternating between commuting and lapping spends far less of its life near the wrong end of that curve.

Care and cleaning

Cleaning has two levels. Dry dust leaves under compressed air applied from the inside face towards the dirty one, against the direction the engine pulls. Anything greasy wants lukewarm water and a small amount of mild detergent, rinsed through until nothing further comes away. Drying is where these elements are lost: room temperature and patience only, because a hot air gun ruins polyester long before the damage shows. Fitment & Compatibility

Listed for the Zontes 368E in its 2025 and 2026 form. The same part number serves four more 368 machines from the range, so the fitment list runs to five entries in total. Model year and element code identify it; the model letter does not.
