Function
12 mm, 23 mm, 0.15 mm: that is the whole specification, and it has to match what came out. Öhlins grinds shims to a flatness tolerance because the faces have to seal against each other. Outer diameter sets the lever the oil works against; thickness sets how hard it resists. A stack combines several diameters so the curve changes progressively rather than in steps.
