DescriptionThe whole story▼
Fullsix publishes a weight for this one, which is rare enough in the catalogue to be worth leading with: the standard mudguard it replaces weighs 356 grams, this laminate weighs 217, and the difference is 139 grams removed from ahead of the front axle. That is unsprung, rotating-adjacent mass in the single worst place to carry it.
Key Features
- Front mudguard, narrow profile, direct replacement on the standard brackets
- 217 g against 356 g for the original — a documented 139 g saving
- Four versions: 200 Plain matt, 245 Twill clear coat, matt or raw
- Autoclave-cured laminate, original fasteners, no drilling
- Slim side legs rather than full-depth fork sections
Two Mudguards, One Part Name
Fullsix lists two front mudguards that both fit this motorcycle and calls both of them FRONT MUDGUARD. This article, MB-RR19-TC01, is the narrow one: short side legs with an open cut-out, following the outline of the standard guard. The other is article MB-MR23-TC01, which is wider, costs considerably more and carries deep side sections that continue down past the fork bottoms.
Both are listed for the 2021-2026 S1000R. The photographs are the reliable way to tell them apart, and we have listed them as separate products so nobody has to guess which one arrives. The word Slim is ours, not the manufacturer's.
Fitment and Compatibility
BMW S1000R, model years 2021 to 2026, on the standard fork brackets. Fullsix lists the same article for the S1000RR from 2019 onward. Aftermarket forks need the bracket spacing checked first.
Road Approval
Fullsix publishes neither an ABE nor an EC type-approval number for this article. An existing S1000RR listing elsewhere describes a comparable part as approved; that claim is not documented for this number and we do not repeat it. Confirm the position for your own registration before road use.
What 139 Grams Is Worth
Honestly: not much in a lap time, and quite a lot in the first metre of fork travel over a sharp edge. Mass ahead of the axle works against the damper on every bump, and it is the one place where a small number has a disproportionate effect on how a front end settles.
