DescriptionThe whole story▼

A supermoto is often ridden hard: on twisty back roads, through rain showers and sometimes with a slide into a tight hairpin. For the Kove 250 Supermoto of model year 2023, Accossato makes the AGPP72 rear pad in the Sintered mixture. It is aimed at riders who use the bike in all weather and ride it actively on the road, where a rear brake with a steady, predictable response matters.

Key Features

  • Rear pads AGPP72 for the Kove 250 Supermoto, model year 2023
  • Sintered mixture, SKU AGPP72ST
  • High, constant grip at low and high temperatures, says Accossato
  • Grips well in the wet
  • Predictable response for active riding
  • All-season use
  • OR and STMX also made on this plate
  • No ABE on file with us; for track use

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato says its Sintered compound keeps a high and constant grip level across temperatures and works well in the wet. On a supermoto, the rear brake is used actively to position the bike in corners, and a pad with a predictable response helps. Accossato also mentions slow wear, limited heat against fade and strong braking.

Active Riding on a Supermoto

Supermoto riders use the rear brake more than most. It helps turn the bike into tight corners, stabilises it under hard braking and can be used to steer the bike with a controlled slide on a closed track. On the road, it is useful in wet hairpins and on loose surfaces. A Sintered pad gives the same response on a cold morning as on a warm afternoon and does not lose its bite when wet.

Rear pads on a supermoto can wear quickly if the rear brake is used a lot. Check them regularly and replace them before they reach the backing plate.

Choosing Between the Pads

Accossato offers the AGPP72 plate in three mixtures. OR suits city riding, STMX is aimed at off-road use, and ST sits in between for active road riding in all weather.

Fitment and Compatibility

For the 2023 Kove 250 Supermoto, which Accossato catalogues under the name MX 250 Supermoto, AGPP72 is the rear plate. The data available to us shows no front pad or Accossato disc for this model. A single box fits the rear caliper.

Road Approval

We hold no ABE or German approval documents for AGPP72ST. It is supplied for racing and track use.

Scope of Delivery

Two Sintered rear pads for one caliper.
