DescriptionThe whole story▼

Mountain roads are unkind to front pads in a way that circuits are not. A descent gives no straight in which anything can cool, only hairpin after hairpin with the same request each time. Accossato's AGPA106 covers the front of the Ducati Streetfighter V4 S from 2020 to 2024, and article AGPA106ST holds the Sintered friction material, which the factory describes as offering a grip level that stays high whether the disc is cold or hot and that survives water on the surface.

Key Features

  • Front brake pads for the Ducati Streetfighter V4 S, 2020 to 2024
  • AGPA106ST: the AGPA106 shape with the Sintered friction material
  • Accossato reports grip that does not change with disc temperature
  • A wet face is included in the description rather than excused
  • Written for long descents, passes and unsettled mountain weather
  • Two front calipers on the S, so the axle wants two boxes
  • EV1, EV2 and ZXC share the carrier for other purposes
  • No German ABE among our papers; offered for competition use

Construction and Material Quality

Heat is the enemy of a consistent descent, and Accossato's claim for this material is that heat does not move the answer very much. What the hand asks for at the top of a pass should be what the wheel does near the bottom, several hundred metres of altitude and thirty corners later, and a shower crossing the valley should not require a new technique. The steel carrier is the AGPA106 pressing used for every material in the family, so the semi-active front end of a Streetfighter V4 S keeps its geometry and simply gets a different surface between pad and disc.

Hairpins on the Way Down

Going up a pass, the brakes have an easy time. Coming down is another matter: gravity is doing the work of an engine, the corners arrive in an unbroken series, and the rider uses the lever more in twenty minutes than in the previous two hours. Add the shade of a north face, a wet patch where meltwater crosses the tarmac, and the fact that the tyres are cooling while the discs are heating, and the value of a predictable response becomes obvious.

A trip like that is worth preparing for at home. Check how much friction material remains before leaving instead of discovering it in a mountain village, run a hand over the disc for ridges, and look at the fluid while everything is cold. Pistons want to be clean before they are eased back, pads belong in the caliper as a pair, and new material should be settled in over ordinary roads. Pump the lever until it is firm before the Streetfighter V4 S is pointed at the first climb.

Fitment and Compatibility

Important: this pad fits the Streetfighter V4S from 2020 to 2024 only. The 2025 model uses a different front caliper and needs a different pad. Accossato gives the front of the Streetfighter V4 S a run from 2020 to 2024, two seasons shorter than the rear entry for the same motorcycle, which continues to 2026. Two calipers mean two boxes at that end. The pad at the back is the AGPA42, and the disc noted for this Ducati is the DKS036. Bikes outside the listed seasons want checking individually, and because a single pad outline serves many machines, the article number is the detail worth quoting.

Road Approval

No ABE and no German test certificate for the AGPA106ST has come to us. The article is sold for racing and closed-course riding, not for public roads.

Scope of Delivery

One box of two AGPA106 pads in the Sintered material, which fills a single caliper. The Streetfighter V4 S has two at the front, so the axle takes two boxes.
