A separating piston or bladder keeps nitrogen and oil apart; if it fails the damping goes with it.

Key Features

Öhlins part number 00636-22

Dimension C 260 mm

Dimension A 12 mm

Original Öhlins service part

Dimension B 12 mm

Where It Sits

00636-22 is the 12 mm, 12 mm, 260 mm version — Öhlins lists each size separately. Hose length is specific to the installation and cannot be substituted freely. The reservoir holds the gas charge and the oil volume the damper displaces as the shaft enters it. Hose-mounted reservoirs allow installation where a piggyback would foul the chassis.

Why the Original

Öhlins manufactures service parts on the same lines as production parts — there is no second quality. Öhlins is one of the few suspension makers that still supplies every position in the exploded view as a single part. Order by part number — descriptions repeat across sizes, numbers do not. Send us the model and serial number of your unit and we will confirm the position before you order.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Order under 00636-22. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. Check dimension a 12 mm, dimension b 12 mm, dimension c 260 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. The reservoir hose carries the full gas charge and is pressure-tested accordingly. Fittings are specific to the hose and the housing they connect.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 00636-22

Category: Hoses

Dimension A: 12 mm

Dimension B: 12 mm

Dimension C: 260 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/00636-22_25a7062b-9705-4b74-8bb3-e806f3dc89f0.png?v=1788869961
