DescriptionThe whole story▼
The JP PLDB 043 right-hand street handlebar switch mirrors the JP PLD 043 for the MV Agusta Superveloce 1000 Oro but uses a misaligned, offset mounting-hole pattern instead. It is built for brake master cylinders whose holes sit out of line, so riders need to confirm their own cylinder's layout before choosing this version.
Key Features
- MV Agusta Superveloce 1000 Oro (2024)
- Interchangeable with the original right-hand switch, no modification needed
- Plug-and-play fitment specific to the Superveloce 1000 Oro
- Misaligned, offset mounting-hole pattern for matching master cylinders
- Mounts in place of the original clamp on the brake master cylinder
- Companion to the aligned-hole JP PLD 043 switch
The other half of a two-version switch
Jetprime offers this right-hand switch in two mounting-hole layouts to suit the two master-cylinder variants found on the Superveloce 1000 Oro; the JP PLDB 043 is the version built for an offset, misaligned hole spacing. Riders only need to pick the one that actually matches the master cylinder fitted to their bike.
Why offset holes need their own version
Because this switch clamps directly onto the brake master cylinder in place of the stock clamp, a hole spacing that does not match the cylinder underneath simply will not bolt up, which is why Jetprime splits the part by hole pattern rather than offering one universal fit.
Confirming the right version
Before ordering, it is worth checking the Superveloce 1000 Oro's actual master cylinder for whether its mounting holes sit in a straight line or offset from one another, since choosing the wrong pattern means the switch will not seat correctly.
Fitting and wiring otherwise unchanged
Once the hole pattern is confirmed as a match, this switch installs exactly like its aligned-hole counterpart: no handlebar modification, and the original plug reconnects without splicing or adapting the loom. Fitting time stays short once the correct hole pattern has already been confirmed beforehand.
A street part for everyday use
Like the aligned-hole version, this switch is a street-oriented replacement rather than a track-only eliminator, keeping the Superveloce 1000 Oro's original switch function intact for everyday riding. It is meant to serve riders exactly as the factory switch would, day to day on the road.
