DescriptionThe whole story▼
For a revised Dragster 800 with stepped master cylinder clamp bolts, the JP PLDB 022 is the correct right-hand switch.

Three Versions of One Switch
A universal plate and two dedicated drillings. The universal one carries more material and sits slightly wider; the dedicated versions are tighter packages. Where the clamp geometry is known and fixed, the dedicated part is the better fit.
Establishing It
Offset means one bolt is forward of the other relative to the bar axis. That is visible immediately with the motorcycle in front of you and is not reliably deducible from the master cylinder's brand or model name.
A Rekluse Clutch on Some
The SCS versions use a centrifugal clutch that lets the bike be stopped in gear without pulling the lever. On a heavy-rear-tyred naked bike in city traffic it is considerably more useful than the specification sheet conveys.
No Pillion, No Compromise
MV removed the passenger seat and footrests entirely rather than making them optional. It shortens the tail dramatically and commits the motorcycle to being a solo machine, which very few manufacturers are willing to do.
Weather at Road Speed
There is nothing on a Dragster to deflect water away from the controls. Sealed elements inside a body with no moulded seam are what determine whether the switch still feels accurate after several winters of ordinary use.
Three Model Years
The fitment covers 2018 to 2020. The first-generation Dragster and the Euro 5 bike that followed both use different electrical layouts, so the registration year rather than the appearance settles which part is right.
Black Anodised
A single finish, converted into the surface. It dulls with contact rather than flaking, which on a motorcycle likely to be dropped at least once is the more useful property.
