DescriptionThe whole story▼

An Indian Scout Bobber ridden through the seasons needs a front brake that does not mind rain, cold or grime. Accossato offers this front pad for the 2017 to 2024 Scout Bobber in its Sintered (ST) compound, which the company says keeps a high, constant grip at low and high temperatures and works well in the wet. It suits riders who use the Bobber for weekend trips over passes, autumn rides and all-year commuting.

Key Features

  • Sintered (ST) front pads for the Indian Scout Bobber, 2017 to 2024
  • Accossato quotes steady grip hot or cold
  • Good bite on a wet disc
  • Suited to all-year riding and pass roads
  • Pair for one caliper in each box
  • Rear pad AGPP91 offered for the same model
  • For racing and competition use in Germany

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato's claim for the sintered compound is consistency: a high and even grip level across temperatures and good wet performance. On a cruiser like the Scout Bobber, which often sees short rides in unpredictable weather, that consistency means the lever behaves the same on a wet November morning as on a hot July afternoon. The company also claims long life and less fade through controlled heat. No ingredient list is published.

A Bobber for Every Season

Many Scout Bobber owners do not lay the bike up in winter. They ride to work in drizzle, head into the hills on crisp autumn weekends and carry a small bag on the rear. The sintered pad is a natural choice for that rider, keeping the front brake predictable when the road is wet and the disc is cold. If most of your riding is dry town traffic, the Organic pad is quieter; EV1, EV2 and ZXC are there for circuit use. Road salt and winter grime do build up around the caliper, so a rinse with clean water after wet rides keeps the pistons moving freely on the Bobber.

Fitment and Compatibility

Pad AGPA92 is listed by Accossato for the Indian Scout Bobber front brake from 2017 to 2024, shown as the Scout 1200 Bobber in its list. With a single front caliper, one box covers the front. The rear uses AGPP91. Check disc thickness before fitting, clean the pistons and pump the lever until it firms up.

Road Approval

We have no approval documents for these pads, so in Germany they are sold for racing and competition use.

Scope of Delivery
