DescriptionThe whole story▼
When a new model such as the CB1000 Hornet arrives, dealers put demonstrators on the road straight away, and those bikes lead busy lives. In a single season a demo bike may be ridden by dozens of people, many of them on an unfamiliar machine for the first time, and now and then one of them drops it at walking pace in the dealer's car park. Honda's four-cylinder naked bike arrived for 2025, and for that first model year Accossato lists the AGS07, a silver replacement clutch lever of the original type.

Construction and Material Quality
The AGS07 is a replacement built to the original pattern, which means it returns the left side of the CB1000 Hornet to its standard appearance. Accossato developed it to be good value for money and says the production process it uses for these levers makes them more resistant after damage or collisions. It is silver, as listed for this bike. The manufacturer gives no information on material or production, so neither do we.
The Demo Bike Everyone Rode
For a dealer, a demonstrator is a sales tool, and it only works when it looks new. A bent clutch lever on a CB1000 Hornet that is supposed to impress the next customer does the opposite. That is why workshops keep small parts like levers in stock: after a drop, the bike is checked, the damaged parts are replaced and it goes back out the same day. The routine is short but complete. Clean the pivot and grease it lightly before fitting the new lever, then check that it moves freely and springs back. Check the free play at the lever against Honda's handbook, and make sure the clutch switch responds, since on most modern bikes the starter depends on it when a gear is engaged. The same care is worth taking if you are the customer. Look over the levers before a test ride and point out any damage, so that nobody wonders afterwards who caused it. And if you later buy an ex-demonstrator, check the controls closely; a bike with many riders often shows small signs of it.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the AGS07 for the CB1000 Hornet of 2025, and it is the only replacement clutch lever on the list for this bike. With us, the same lever also appears under the CB750 Hornet, the CBR 600 RR and the XL750 Transalp. Accossato's CNC clutch lever ESY688H is the tuning alternative. The list currently covers only the 2025 model year, so compare our photo with the lever on your CB1000 Hornet before ordering.
Road Approval
We have no ABE or test mark documents for the AGS07; it is therefore offered for racing and competition.
Scope of Delivery
