DescriptionThe whole story▼
Many Vulcan S Café owners ride from spring to autumn and let the bike rest through the coldest months. A cruiser with café styling is a machine to enjoy on good days, and it should come out of the garage in spring looking as it did when it went in. Accossato's ESK750 suits that approach: an aluminium clutch lever for the Vulcan S Café of 2017 to 2019, CNC-machined, adjustable in reach and anodised, a finish that takes a winter of storage in its stride.
Key Features
- Clutch lever for the Vulcan S Café, listed for 2017 to 2019
- Replaces the stock lever at the original clutch mounting
- Adjustable distance from the grip
- Short, standard (approximately 138 mm) and long blades
- Anodised in two tones: black hub, coloured blade
- CNC-machined aluminium
- Fixed blade, no folding joint
Construction and Material Quality
The ESK750 has two zones in one piece: a hub, where the lever pivots and where the reach adjuster sits, and a blade that runs out from it to the tip. Accossato machines the whole lever from aluminium on CNC equipment, so there is no seam or hinge between the two, and then anodises it, the hub in black and the blade in one of seven colours. The fixed design keeps the take-up consistent, and the anodised colour cannot flake away because it is part of the aluminium surface itself.
A Winter in the Garage
Storage is kinder to some materials than others. In a cold garage, condensation forms on metal surfaces, chrome can spot and paint on exposed edges may start to lift. Anodised aluminium is less demanding, because its coloured oxide layer is the surface; there is no coating for moisture to creep underneath. That does not mean it needs no care. Before the Café goes away for the winter, wash it, dry the levers and switchgear thoroughly, and use a breathable cover rather than a plastic sheet that traps moisture. In spring, check that both levers move freely, that the clutch engages as it should and that the reach still suits you, especially if you have bought new gloves over the winter. A quick wipe with a soft cloth clears the garage dust from the blade on the Vulcan S Café, and the first ride of the season can begin without a stretch for the lever.
Fitment and Compatibility
Under the name EN 650 Vulcan S Café, Accossato gives 2017 to 2019 for the ESK750, which fits in place of the original clutch lever. For the right hand, the EDF021 brake lever is listed for the same years, so both levers can be ordered in matching colours.
Road Approval
Since there is no German ABE on file for the ESK750 on the Vulcan S Café, it is sold as a track part.
Scope of Delivery
Accossato packs the ESK750 in its own box: one clutch lever for the Vulcan S Café, in the colour and blade length you ordered.
