DescriptionThe whole story▼

Near the top of KTM's four-stroke enduro displacement range, the 450EXC-F for 2024 and 2025 shares its rear-only brake hose with the related 450 SMR supermoto built on the same underlying platform. The fitting can be ordered plain in stainless steel or painted in one of five colours, with twenty sheath shades either way.

Key Features

  • Single braided hose for the rear brake line
  • Standard S-layout routing
  • Stainless steel or painted stainless fittings in five colours
  • Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
  • Covers the rear circuit only; front hose not included

Construction and Material Quality

Stainless aeronautical braid makes up this rear hose, finished with a stainless or painted stainless fitting and offered across twenty sheath colours, the same specification as every other current single-line part in Accossato's range. Fitting it touches only the rear caliper connection, leaving the front circuit untouched.

Enduro and Supermoto, the Same Rear Hose

The 450 SMR takes the EXC-F 450's enduro chassis and fits supermoto wheels and suspension to it, and that shared platform shows up here too: both bikes take the identical rear hose from Accossato. The earlier 2018–2023 450EXC-F used a different code entirely, and the 2014–2016 Six Days-linked years used a third fitment again, grouped with much older KTM two-strokes. Riders should not assume the 450 SMR's supermoto wheels change anything about the brake hose itself; the shared code reflects shared hydraulics, not merely a coincidence between two superficially different bikes. That shared hydraulics point is worth remembering if either bike's brake system ever needs troubleshooting side by side.

Fitment and Compatibility

This hose is listed for the KTM 450EXC-F built in 2024 and 2025, and the same part also covers the KTM 450 SMR built on the same platform. Across to Husqvarna, it reaches the FE 450 and FE 501 at the top of that range down through the FE 350 and FE 250, the FS 450, and the TE and TX models; see the fitment tab for the full spread. For 2018–2023, use AGA0284.

Road Approval

Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit, so it is intended for track and competition use.

Scope of Delivery

The kit contains 1 braided hose for the Standard layout. Connecting hardware such as banjo bolts and sealing washers is not listed as included, so it is worth checking the hardware already on the bike before starting the job. Once fitted, the circuit should be filled and bled by a competent workshop before the bike is ridden.
