A separating piston or bladder keeps nitrogen and oil apart; if it fails the damping goes with it. Fittings are specific to the hose and the housing they connect. Hose length is specific to the installation and cannot be substituted freely.

Why the Original

Öhlins publishes dimensions for its service parts so a workshop can verify before it fits. A damper that can be rebuilt is a damper that stays on the bike; that is the whole argument for original service parts. The Öhlins exploded view names the number for each position; we can look it up if you do not have it. Where a number has been superseded, Öhlins states the replacement — we pass that on.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 00637-13 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. Öhlins states dimension a 10 mm, dimension b 10 mm, dimension c 520 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. A separating piston or bladder keeps nitrogen and oil apart; if it fails the damping goes with it. The reservoir holds the gas charge and the oil volume the damper displaces as the shaft enters it.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 00637-13

Category: Hoses

Dimension A: 10 mm

Dimension B: 10 mm

Dimension C: 520 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/00637-13_74b9d15c-e629-4ee1-8c82-7cc7aba9f365.png?v=1788869995
