DescriptionThe whole story▼

Plenty of Ninja 125 owners ride all year because the bike is their only transport: to school or work through the winter, in the rain, on salted roads. Accossato lists its AGPA77 pad in the Sintered mixture for the Kawasaki Ninja 125 from 2019 to 2026, for both front and rear calipers. It suits these year-round riders, since Accossato designs the compound to keep its grip steady whether the disc is cold, hot or wet.

Key Features

  • Pads AGPA77 for the Kawasaki Ninja 125, 2019 to 2026
  • Listed for front and rear
  • Sintered mixture, SKU AGPA77ST
  • Accossato: constant grip across temperatures
  • Dependable in rain and spray
  • Suits winter commuting
  • Also available as OR
  • No ABE held; for track use

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato describes this compound as holding a high, even level of grip at low and high temperatures and working well in the wet. For a Ninja 125 ridden through a northern winter, that means the first stop of a frosty morning and the last stop in evening rain feel alike. The Italian company also points out that its pads control temperature to limit fade while stopping strongly. The sintered block is fitted to the standard AGPA77 backing plate.

A Ninja 125 Through Winter

Winter riding on a light bike is a lesson in anticipation. Wet leaves, painted lines and diesel spills all reduce grip, and a rider needs to know exactly what the brakes will do when the lever is pulled. A compound that grips consistently on a wet disc makes the bike more predictable in those conditions.

Winter is also hard on brake components. Road salt corrodes pistons and discs, so rinse the calipers with fresh water after salty rides and dry the bike before parking it. Check the pads regularly, since grit from wet roads accelerates wear. Replace brake fluid every couple of years, as it absorbs moisture over time and loses performance.

Fitment and Compatibility

The AGPA77 plate appears in Accossato's catalogue for the Ninja 125 from 2019 to 2026, in both the front and the rear caliper. Accossato also lists AGPA88 for the rear of the 2019 to 2021 bikes; if yours falls into that range, compare the rear pad shape before ordering. The Accossato discs for the model are DK238 and DK271. Each box covers one caliper, so front and rear together need two boxes.

Road Approval

AGPA77ST comes without an ABE or German approval document that we could provide. It is intended for competition.
