The Cattiva name carries genuine racing pedigree. Where cast aluminium wheels rely on bulk to achieve structural rigidity, the Cattiva's forged magnesium process aligns the grain structure of the material under immense pressure, producing a wheel that is simultaneously lighter and stronger. The result is a set that shaves meaningful rotating mass compared with OEM wheels — mass that the RSV4's engine no longer has to fight to accelerate, decelerate or change direction.
On track, the difference is felt immediately. Steering response quickens, mid-corner balance improves and braking stability tightens. The reduction in gyroscopic effect also makes direction changes between apexes more natural and less fatiguing over a full session.

The Cattiva set is available in gloss black, matte black and gold — each finish applied with the same rigorous standards OZ applies to its World Superbike and MotoGP programme wheels. The Cattiva's spoke geometry is the product of finite-element analysis, optimising stiffness distribution without adding unnecessary material. Bearings are selected to handle the lateral and radial loads generated under hard track use, and the included aluminium angled valves ensure reliable tyre inflation even with low-profile racing rubber fitted.
